When its carrier realigned its service offering, the system that Chemist Counter Direct was using no longer worked. With hundreds of items sold each day through its own eCommerce site, the online pharmacy needed an immediate remedy to prevent service disruption for its domestic and international customers.

The NetDespatch Retail Solutions team stepped in and quickly configured the powerful NetDespatch Import Wizard to map Amazon shipments directly into the NetDespatch servers, and the versatile NetDespatch Connector application to print the correct thermal barcoded labels in the warehouse. An added bonus was the automated pre-advice to the carrier’s Online Business Account system on production of the end of day Sales Order Summary Manifest.

He added, “We have been granted a licence to fill online prescriptions from September. These products will have to be delivered to home addresses, with track and trace to comply with both UK and EU regulations.”
