SodaStream  has managed to cut order processing time despite increasing sales volumes,  thanks to a cost-free solution from NetDespatch which integrates the company’s  order management system with the APC Overnight parcel delivery  network.

NetDespatch has improved SodaStream’s order fulfilment and  despatch processes with a solution that seamlessly integrates the company’s  Magento order processing system with the APC Overnight network via their local  depot, Team C Express Logistics.

The Cambridge-based home  carbonated drinks supplier processes around 50,000 orders per year. Prior to  implementing NetDespatch, the company had to manually input orders and print  address labels. As the business grew, the company wanted to eliminate manual  processes, both to save time and improve efficiencies.

After  assessing SodaStream’s order fulfilment procedures, NetDespatch’s Retail  Solutions team helped with the implementation of a seamless integration with  SodaStream’s Magento eCommerce and warehouse system. Collaboration between  Magento specialists Xtento and Session Digital, means that the data is  transferred directly from Magento to NetDespatch in real time using a web  services solution. Labels are then automatically printed in the warehouse via  the powerful NetDespatch Connector local printing application, and a notification is sent to the carrier that consignments are ready for collection.
