PostNord Finland introduces SwipBox Infinity parcel lockers

PostNord Finland aims to roll out the Infinity parcel locker network nationwide to bring convenience to the Finnish people.

SwipBox parcel lockers are not new to PostNord Finland, however, as they are already part of an existing and indoor based parcel locker infrastructure. PostNord Finland believe that the outdoor network will be a good supplement to this.

“We are the first to roll out this innovative solution in Finland, bringing new technology to the market. Because they are battery-driven, Infinity parcel lockers can be placed anywhere so we can place them close to where people live, making it as convenient as possible for the public to
pick up parcels”, said Johanna Starck, CEO at PostNord Finland.

The Infinity solution was not just chosen because of its convenience. “The fact that these parcel lockers are operated completely via intuitive apps and you don’t have to touch a screen has been a huge plus especially in these Covid-19 times,” Starck continued.

Asked about the rollout of the Infinity network, Commercial Development Manager at SwipBox Mark Yeoman commented: “We are convinced that PostNord Finland will set up a successful parcel locker network adding convenience for the end users in Finland. We’re really excited
about this move and the fact that PostNord has now launched the Infinity network in all Nordic countries. “

The SwipBox Infinity network will initially be rolled out in a few cities and will then grow from there.
